Innovations in Corporate Social Impact 11/2/17
“Corporate Social Impact is not a responsibility, it is an opportunity.” This was the sentiment from ONE WORLD’s recent Innovations in Corporate Social Impact Program. The opening segments featured discussions with Ira Ehrenpreis, Founder and Managing Partner, DBL Partners, Catherine Chen, Senior Vice President, RBC Wealth Management, Jennifer Young, Director Corporate Social Impact Programs, Pearson, and Kirsten Tobey, Founder and Chief Impact Officer, Revolution Foods.
The audience of over 100 social impact professionals, investors, corporate leaders, and early stage social entrepreneurs then moved into breakout panels on the following topics:
Leveraging Talent for Impact: From frontline employees to senior executives, how are companies putting their human capital to work to drive positive impact?
Supporting the Impact Economy: How are companies supporting the social impact ecosystem of investors and entrepreneurs?
Innovative Uses of Corporate Resources: Beyond corporate philanthropy and volunteerism, what additional ways can companies leverage financial capital and intellectual capital to make a positive impact to the environment and society
Designing & Delivering Products for Impact: How are companies delivering products, services and opportunities for underserved populations, domestically and abroad?
